About The Mystic Project
Turning Interest into Action
Here at The Mystic Project, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2018, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: community, opportunity, and progress.
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. The Mystic Project emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.
Who We Are
Our Mission
The mission of The Mystic Project is to promote equitable initiatives that expand opportunities for membership and participation. We are committed to creating leadership pathways that enable members of the community to be leaders and change-makers. Our projects are founded on community justice with the goals of increasing opportunities for economic independence, nurturing leadership pathways, and providing art- and entrepreneurship-focused programming that serves historically disenfranchised communities. Our programs build on participants’ assets and skills, leading to increased autonomy, self-advocacy, civic engagement, and organizing efforts.

Our Organizational Model
Our leadership approach emphasizes collaboration, trust, and equitable participation. We believe in fostering a culture where every team member, regardless of their position or background, has an equal voice and opportunity to contribute meaningfully.
To achieve this, we prioritize building strong relationships within our team and with the communities we serve. Through transparent communication, active listening, and shared decision-making, we create pathways for leadership that honor and uplift the unique perspectives and talents of all individuals in our community.
