About Artrepreneurs' Youth

Artepreuners Youth is is a weekly afterschool program where youth harness their creative skills to recycle and repurpose waste materials into saleable art, while learning about conservation, and entrepreneurship skills.

Our Creations
Participants create dried flower arrangements on repurposed vases, upcycle old canvas art to new creations, make handmade soaps, stone paper weights, repurposed mailers, handmade greeting cards, planters, etc.

Our Approach

The success of the program rests on the autonomy that participants enjoy in brainstorming about how to repurpose an item while using the materials on hand, discuss costs and time incurred to finalize sale prizes and finally the actual sales when they find appreciation from the community for their creations.
