The Mystic Project
Welcomes You

Hope & Purpose

The highest priority of our non-profit, The Mystic Project, is to promote equitable initiatives that expand opportunities for membership and participation for all members in the community to be leaders and change makers.  Recognizing, reinforcing, and celebrating the healthy, thriving, and diverse community where we live is our goal.  Community is made together; it is built by incredible individuals who work toward connecting humanity and celebrating the uniqueness and potential of each of its members.

Who We Are

Our Roots

Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiatives. From the moment we came together as a group in 2018, we approached our projects with the purpose of directly serving residents in Medford who have the least access to social-institutional power. The impact of our initiatives convinced us that by working together, we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch The Mystic Project.

Community Calendar Project

Moments in Medford

Since 2020, our "Moments in Medford" calendars share snapshots in Medford and among the neighborhoods that interweave our lives.  Take a Moment in Medford by supporting your neighbors and local businesses, sharing in your neighbor's joy, embracing each other's uniqueness and individuality, and celebrating the sum of all our different parts.

Artepreneurs Youth

Making Change Possible

Feeling like there are countless pressing issues that no single program could make a marked difference? Our local afterschool initiative focuses on using art to repurpose materials for entrepreneurial endeavors.  Our elementary and middle-school-aged MHA participants reinvigorate items sourced from the Medford community.

Join us for our annual Artepreneurs Youth sale at the Medford Public Library on Saturday, May 4, 2024.

JustFlix

Transforming Lives

Justflix is part of a larger project conceived by Dr. David Harris to expose young people to the art of storytelling by using their cell phones to make short videos of social and racial justice, community activism, or their ideas of justice.

Support us with Shoott fundraiser!

April 17, 2024

Book a mini-photoshoot with Shoott.  We are hosting a Shoott photographer at the Condon Shell in Veteran's Memorial Park for a day of photo shoots.  You pay only for the photographs you want - the photo shoot is at no cost (there are fees for late arrivals, no shows, and schedule changes within 48hrs of the date).  This is a great opportunity for family photos with the convenience of being in Medford.  If May 4th does not work, you can still support us on another date and/or location through Shoott with the Promo code MYSTICPROJ.  Learn more at our booking link.

Recognizing, reinforcing, and celebrating the healthy, thriving, and diverse community where we live is our goal.  Community is made together; it is built by incredible individuals who work toward connecting humanity and celebrating the uniqueness and potential of each of its members.

Help BUILD that community by making a donation to The Mystic Project where our proceeds go to:

Supporting Medford Housing Authority (MHA) residents no matter their age, background, ability or financial means.

Supporting Arteprenuers Youth and JustFlix, MHA youth and intergenerational programs, that encourage self-expression and instill self confidence.

Acknowledging, recognizing, and celebrating the extraordinary “unseen” and “unheard” members of the community.
